Best Paper Award

One of our Research Scholar Mr. Mohamed Musthafa bagged the Best Paper Award at National Seminar on Knowledge Management held at INMANTEC, Gaziabad on 24 Sept. 2011 for his research paper entitled 'Social Networking experience of university students on Facebook'.
It is the third time Mr. Musthafa winning the Best Paper Awards for presenting research papers.

National Seminar on Knowledge Management, Gaziabad

The research scholars of this department presented papers in the National Seminar on Knowledge Management, held on 24 September 2011 at INMANTEC, Gaziabad. 

Two papers on (1) Social Networking experience of university students on Facebook' was presented by Mr. Mohamed Musthafa. K and (2) 'Shifting the Traditional pattern of knowledge retention: A case study of Knowledge Garden - an Institutional Repository' authored by Dr. Naushad Ali and Jafar Iqbal was presented by Mr. Salahudheen

Mr. Safay Zaffar Awarded PhD

Mr. Md Safay Zaffar, Research scholar of this department awarded PhD. He conducted  research on 'Information Seeking Behavior of Members of Legislative Assembly in UP and Rajastan : A comparative study' under the supervision of Mr. Mustafa Zaidi. Professor RG Prasher, former Head,  DLIS, HS Gaur  University, Sagar (MP)  was the examiner for his Viva-Voce.
