Mr. Tanweer posted in Fiji

Mr. Tanweer Naqvi, a doctoral student of this department, is recently appointed as the librarian of Fiji National University, Fiji.  He will assume the office by the 2nd  week of January 2011. Mr. Tanweer completed his BLISC (2001) and MLISc (2002) from this department. He had worked as a library professional in Delhi and Noida for few years. Prior to this new assignment, he was pursuing doctoral research under the guidance of Dr. Sudharma Haridasan in AMU. He has successfully completed his research and submitted the thesis for award.
            The department organized a farewell party to Mr., Tanweer, on 4th January in the seminar hall. Dr. Naushad Ali, Chairman of the department, said in his presidential address that Mr. Tanweer is one of the successful students of this department and a role model for the others.
            Associate Professor  Mustafa Zaidi, Dr. Sudharma Haridasan and Prof. Masoom Raza (HOD, DLIS, NEHU) graced the occasion. All the research scholars, MLISc and BLISc students and staff of the department were present.
            We congratulate Mr. Tanweer and whishes all success in his career and pray to the Almighty for higher achievement in future.
